Fabulous pair of CC41 Shoes with wedge heels. Amazing condition! The soles suggest they have been hardly worn though there are some marks here and there to the uppers. One shoe is labelled on the insole with ‘Start-rite’ and the other shoe is labelled on the insole with ‘Elliott Teen Shoes’. I imagine they may have been retailed through Elliott shoe shops.
SIZE : These lovely wedge shoes are stamped 6½ D on the soles and on the inside of the shoes.
Inside length of sole measures approx 10⅛ inches and the inside width at widest point measures approx 3 inches. These CC41 shoes are slip ons with slight elasticity at the outer edge of the pierced leather strap.
CC41 clothing, also known as Utility Clothing, was available in the UK from 1941 to 1952.
